Welcome to Pound Ridge
A peaceful and private community 50 miles from Manhattan
Situated in the northeastern section of Westchester County, the Town of Pound Ridge is home to 5,500 residents of mostly families, a few celebrities and people seeking a relaxed yet sophisticated place to live. Approximately one-fifth of the population are “weekenders,” choosing to escape the big city for a few peaceful days and enjoy the quiet nostalgia of the old-fashioned community. Tucked among 19 nature preserves of the Pound Ridge Land Conservancy, Pound Ridge is a nature lover’s dream destination and the best place to live if you’re looking for a private home on a few acres of land and enjoy spending time exploring the outdoors.
While Pound Ridge is wonderful for natural landscapes, birdwatching, and hiking, it also offers a unique commercial district, Scotts Corner, with boutique shops, restaurants, a gas station, hardware store, bookstore and grocery store. With everything you could possibly need in one location, “downtown” Pound Ridge is where neighbors connect over a freshly roasted cup of coffee or while indulging in a gourmet food truck’s delicacies during the summer Food Truck Friday gatherings. Despite its small size, Pound Ridge is a highly sought-after destination to relax and enjoy a laid-back, stress-free lifestyle.
